SUMMARY:Cuba Township 2025 Grant Program
DESCRIPTION:Notice of Cuba Township Grant Program\nCuba Township provides grant funding to social service organizations that provide services the Township might otherwise provide directly or indirectly to its residents. The authority for these grants is 60 ILCS 1/235-5(6)\, which allows the Township to tax for the purposes of providing services in cooperation with not-for-profit corporations or nonprofit community service associations.  Applications must provide proof of not-for-profit or nonprofit status for a one-year minimum. Other taxing bodies are not eligible for this grant program. \nInterested organizations may access applications here. \nFunding Timeline\nNovember 12\, 2024:  Applications will be available to incorporated agencies with proof of not-for-profit or nonprofit status for a one-year minimum. \nJanuary 6\, 2025: Application return date. No applications received after 4:00 PM will be considered. Two hard copies of the application must be submitted to: \nCuba Township \nAttn: Heidi Shannon \n288000 W Cuba Road \nBarrington\, IL  60010 \nJanuary 11\, 2024:  Copies of applications received will be provided to the Board for review. \nMarch 14\, 2024:  Board votes to award Social Service funding. \nApril 2024: Funds will be allocated to awarded Agencies.
