Reclamite Application Scheduled for August 29, 2024 on Cuba Road

The Village of Barrington Hills has contracted with Corrective Asphalt Materials to tentatively apply Reclamite, a pavement preservation process, to West Cuba and Oak Knoll Roads on Thursday, August 29 (weather permitting).
Reclamite is proven to add 5 – 7 years of service life to pavements. It is sprayed onto the pavement, and after a curing time of 20 – 45 minutes, a light coating of sand or limestone screening is applied. The screenings are swept away after 1 -2 days after the application.
