First Day to File Objections to Cuba Township Candidate Petitions

CUBA TOWNSHIP, IL. – Beginning Tuesday, September 22, 2020, petitions for candidacy for the 2021 Cuba Township election will be available at the Cuba Township Office, 28000 W Cuba Road, Barrington, IL. The first day to circulate nomination petitions is September 22, 2020. Supervisor, Assessor, Clerk, Highway Commissioner, and four Trustee positions are up for election.
The filing period is Monday, December 14, 2020, through December 21, 2020, excluding weekend days. The Township Clerk will accept petitions only at the Cuba Township Office, 28000 W Cuba Road, Barrington, Illinois, during the regular office hours of Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., provided that on the last day for filing, the Township Clerk will accept petitions at the Cuba Township Office between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Objections to Cuba Township candidate petitions may be filed with the Cuba Township Clerk by appointment only during regular business hours of Monday – Friday 9 AM to 4 PM. Appointment requests should be made via email to the Township Clerk at nknapik@cubatwpil.gov. The objection filing period is between Tuesday, December 22 through Thursday, December 30.
