October 28 - November 1, 2019 BACOG encourages households with private wells to test for bacteria and nitrates annually. Bacteria and nitrates can result from animal or human waste from fertilizer components reaching well water and can cause illness in humans. Eligibility to participate is limited to BACOG area resident only. Residents of the Villages
