Petitions for April 1, 2025, Township Election Available

CUBA TOWNSHIP, IL. – Beginning Tuesday, August 20, 2024, petitions for candidacy for the 2025 Cuba Township election will be available at the Cuba Township Office, 28000 W Cuba Road, Barrington, IL.   The first day to circulate nomination petitions is August 20, 2024.  Supervisor, Assessor, Clerk, Highway Commissioner, and four Trustee positions are up for election, each for a four-year term.

The filing period is Tuesday, November 12, 2024, through Monday, November 18, 2024, excluding weekend days. The Township Clerk will accept petitions only at the Cuba Township Office, 28000 W Cuba Road, Barrington, Illinois, during the regular office hours of Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., provided that on the last day for filing, the Township Clerk will accept petitions at the Cuba Township Office between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Objections to Cuba Township candidate petitions may be filed with the Cuba Township Clerk by appointment only during regular business hours of Monday – Friday 9 AM to 4 PM. Appointment requests should be made via email to the Township Clerk at clerk@cubatwpil.gov. The last day for filing objections to nomination papers is Monday, November 25, 2024.
