Week-Long Brush Pickup Begins Monday, October 7, 2024 at 7 AM

Have your neatly stacked pile of brushed placed by the street no later than 7AM on Monday, October 7.
We will be picking up brush throughout the Cuba Township service areas including unincorporated Cuba Township, and the Village of Barrington, Barrington Hills (only from the Metra tracks south to County Line Road and from Ridge Road east to Old Hart Road), Lake Barrington, North Barrington and Tower Lakes.
Properties located on IDOT roads including Routes 59, 22 and 14 and Lake County DOT roads, including Roberts, Miller, Kelsey and River Roads are not included for our employees’ and motorists’ safety and well-being.
The guidelines are as follows:
- The diameter of branches needs to be less than 8″.
- The pile should be no wider than 10″ (looking at it from the street), 4′ high, and 5′ deep.
- No root balls, stumps, decorative grasses, leaves or yard waste.
- If the brush pile exceeds this guideline, the remaining branches WILL NOT be picked up.
- There will be no further brush pick-up for the remainder of the year.
